Response times

  • Business hours (Mon–Fri, 9–5 ET): usually within a few hours
  • Outside business hours: by the next business day
  • Critical issues (you can’t log in, a walk failed to process, billing problem): we treat these first regardless of time

Common questions

I recorded a walk on iOS but nothing appears in the web admin.

First, check the walk status in the iOS app. Audio + photos upload in the background and can take a few minutes on slow networks. If the walk shows “processing” for more than 10 minutes, email us with the walk date and project name.

The AI assigned the wrong trade or audience to an item.

Open the walk in the web admin, click the item, and change the trade or toggle the audience pills. AI suggestions are a starting point — you have final say. The “Undo AI” button on each item reverts back to the AI’s suggestion if you change your mind.

A subcontractor didn’t receive the punch list email.

Check the walk detail page — the sub-email status updates as Resend delivers, opens, or bounces each message. If the status is “bounced,” the email address is wrong; update it in the Subs directory and resend. If the status stays “sent” with no delivery, the message likely landed in spam — ask the sub to check their spam folder and mark our address as not-spam.

I want to cancel my subscription.

Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. That opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel, update payment method, or change plans. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I delete a walk or my account?

Walks can be deleted from the walk detail page (the trash icon in the header) or from the iOS app. To delete your entire account, email us at support@fieldbrief.io and we’ll process the deletion within 7 days.

Reporting a security issue

If you’ve found something that looks like a security vulnerability — a way to see another organization’s data, a way to bypass authentication, anything along those lines — please email security@fieldbrief.io directly instead of using the public form. We treat security reports as our top priority.
